(Original transmission Date should have been 21st February 09 but due to unknown reasons wasn’t shown until the 23rd) Special 1 tv’s predecessorcalled “I’m on setanta sports” (IOSS) first appeared at the beginning of December 2007 & has been a cult football comedy hit ever since. At first the show was a solo effort with The special one in the studio alone & taking calls from various other football faces & Managers (with the exception of a certain Dave from Newcastle). In due coarse Two more regulars were drafted in by Jose in the shape of Sven (“IT”) & the boy Wayne (Rooney) This move bought a massive comical boost to the show & helped increase it’s popularity. In autumn 08 a certain Mr Fabio Capello (cabbage man) came into the show as THE BOSS much to Jose’s disgust. But he has seldom been seen since a certain election defeat to Jose. (Do not cross the special one). In early January 2009 setanta stunned the shows millions & millions of Fantastic fans by announcing that IOSS was to end the following weekend…..for no apparent reason. DAVE LENNON (Director of this channel) went Ballistic & started an online campaign to save this special show. After 10 days of this campaign it was announced through a special episode (EP00 on this channel) that the show was to return with a new name “Special 1 TV”. The fans rejoiced & I slept properly for the first time in ten days. The whole thing had been a cheap marketing ploy (as stated by Sven in EP01) to accommodate a new sponsor …

Internet Censorship: Major Truth-Providing Websites Blocked By Asia Netcom To New Zealand Users Clare Swinney www.infonews.co.nz Sunday, February 7th, 2010 Has Chinese-style internet censorship arrived in New Zealand this year? The question is posed because two major news websites, Infowars.com and Prisonplanet.com, both of which are run by documentary maker and radio show host Alex Jones, who is renowned for exposing the truths the mainstream media attempts to conceal, were found to be have been selectively blocked on Friday evening and were still unavailable at the time of writing. Thankfully, this draconian measure does not effect all internet users in New Zealand however. It appears to be confined to those whose internet server providers, (ISPs), use Asia Netcom for their international internet traffic. Telstraclear, Vodafone and Worldxchange Communications users are not effected, while Woosh, Orcon, Slingshot, Telecom and Ihug users are. An avid fan of Infowars.com and a 9/11 truth activist, Jeff Mitchell, reported on Saturday that he contacted his ISP, Orcon, to establish what was causing the block, and was advised by a computer technician who did a traceroute, that the break in traffic to the two websites was found to be occurring at Asia Netcoms router in Sydney. This technician also advised that as Telstraclear used a different route, their customers were still able to access the two sites.
