This seems like a horrible idea. He’s obviously a bright, talented young man, but without discipline. Who gives their kid a CHOICE to go to school? The mom’s not helping him face the real world, and if his anxiety is that much of a problem, REAL therapy is better than a stranger.

The kid clearly needs a father figure around him, and I hope Abe keeps being the mentor that he needs. I hope Antonio can get over his fears. My friend who is 44 years old, has this same anxiety. Its call agora phobia. Its a condition where you don’t like being around crowds for people. He got this way when he was almost robbed one night, so Im guesing this kid had a bad experience too. My friend is fine now because he is comfortable with people, as long as I am there with him.

kid needs to get out of the house and do some outdoor activities…sitting in his room playing with lego dolls is not good for a boy, and letting him stay home from school for anxiety…lousy excuse of a mother
