@CMVD777 Why would I be for or against your imaginary friend? I don’t have a problem with God, I have a problem with people talking about God like it actually exists. Also, for the record, my life has improved 1000x since I gave up trying to do this nonsensical religious crap.

nosrac95 @ 2:20 am #

@FreeeeS lol it doesnt make masturbation difficult

faraz1729 @ 4:37 am #

LOL @ CMVD777. Oh, you little-minded superstitious clown you. Thanks for the chuckles.

Kingkalty @ 6:45 am #

Religions are inherited or accepted emotionally. Both are erroneous paths in the search for truth. Google Doe’s Account.

iouakick @ 1:53 pm #

@CMVD777 you strike me as the kind of person that has never looked at any of the arguments against what you believe, did you actually watch this video or just see it was christopher hitchens, type in your unsupported speculative rant and then leave?

FreeeeS @ 2:26 pm #

@nosrac95 judging… i bet you don’t have a foreskin, well, then you know better :p

bruisesandcandy @ 8:10 pm #

@jdetuncq I also live in Austin. I actually had some women come into my store the other day and pray for me. Awkward…

@CMVD777 you need to read up on your theology. there is no evolution in the christian theology, god made the world in seven days, thats it. god created the world perfect, and by deduction, no evolution. if something is perfect, why the need to evolve? by the way if the is no protagonist (god) there is no antagonist(satan), isn’t that obvious. if there is no superman, there is no lex luthor, if there is no batman, there is no joker.

len0808 @ 3:36 am #

@CMVD777 i guess god answered the prayers of the children abused by the clergy. i guess god answered the prayers of the 3000 people killed on 9/11.

does superman exist because there are tons of books on superman.

you are asinine and shall be excluded from the human gene pool.

len0808 @ 3:51 am #

@swarmtime The new testament REPLACED the old testament.

Are you kidding me. do you know what the torah is? its the five books of the old testament. and they think the new testament is rubbish, which is not far from the truth. why don’t you have at least a basic understanding of other theology instead of your own little world.

The Hitch is a guy who can get things done. Thou shalt not question Christopher Hitchens

kevrs2 @ 8:17 pm #

the majority of “persons” are total dickheads in this world…..they havent got a clue, whats going on,and that suites me ,for i will look after mine::))

The Hitch is a kind of Neutron bomb; after he goes off, all superstition is eviscerated and only reason is left in his wake.

dutchpointer @ 8:08 am #

@jdetuncq Oh boy, I love religion, because it is that hilarious. It always amuses me very much, especially when “religious experts” show their stupidities. If we get rid of religion, that stupidity will remain in something else and perhaps more boring.
To give an example, think about communism or any other authoritarian ideology. In other words, you don’t need to be religious to be stupid.

The world can never have too many people like Chris Hitchens! :-)

threat42 @ 8:05 pm #

@ThirdRAILKink

I agree, he has a look. I just don’t think that you should say “annoyingly.”

Did Hitch bail on his interview today? :(

MyFeatherstone @ 3:35 pm #

As an atheist, I believe a worthy rule of life is to try & survive without hurting others.

jeffersonianideal @ 7:53 pm #

Atheists, agnostics and free thinkers are fortunate to be living in an emerging renaissance era for religious skepticism. It is a remarkable time period and all who denounce religious foolishness and moral totalitarianism, should take advantage of this unique moment in human history. The generation of the ignorant, fearful and delusional are slowing dying out. This gives the logic minded, an exceptional chance to induce reasonable thinking patterns into an entirely new, more sensible culture.

ashburnhouse @ 3:32 pm #

Probably the worst interviewer in Canadian History. As soon as I hear his voice on the radio I have to turn it off.

gweflj @ 6:39 pm #

@ashburnhouse Seriously ? I find his questions mostly quite well researched. Now that Ann marie tramonte women and her sickly sweet questioning trying to provoke an emotional response is another matter. “so when your father died, how did that feel inside”…. She belongs on Fox News.

DottieSnee @ 7:26 am #

I heard about this interview when some media in Canada provided withering commentary regarding the guest’s demeanour and behaviour; the audience reaction to that night’s presentation was mockingly dismissive, unusual for famously polite Canadians.

Still, I find myself quite impressed with the verbal dexterity and sharp intellect of this Billy Bob Thornton fellow …

moh490234890238490 @ 9:09 am #

his argument really helped me abandon Islam and become an atheist.

PsychoScientist007 @ 4:49 pm #

me too an X muslim, now a proud atheist…. Long live Hitchens and Dawkins..and all other intellectuals who showed me a right way
