Billy Bob Thornton ‘Blow Up’ on Q TV
www.youtube.com/qtv Q was visited by country-pop band The Boxmasters. The Boxmasters’s biggest claim to fame is that their singer is Oscar-winner Billy Bob Thornton. If you were listening, you heard what could best be described as a ‘showdown at the Q corral’ when Mr. Thornton took offense to our mention of his cinematic accomplishments. Here is what happened on camera. The performance is not included as we have not yet resolved the rights issues to it. If we do we will post that as well.

People make the point about them not mentioning BBT’s film career, but he was being a dickhead from the off. Fuck him. Watch The National on Q TV, they were legends, and the interviewer was great. Thornton is a cunt.
I can’t decide…I KNOW he is an incredible actor…but, I can’t decide if he is acting here or is truly twisted out of his skull!

It occurs to me that bbt just wants to be included as one of the guys in the band – a way of taking focus off him as an actor and keeping the “credit” on the band as a whole. It’s about the music not the actor. Must be hell to want to do something different and have people attempt to keep you in a pigeon hole for their own amusement.

@sdw761 , if it was truly about the music and not the actor, Billy wouldn’t be touring with Willie Nelson, and he wouldn’t be interviewed by Q. The only talent in this band worth an interview is Unknown Hinson, and one look at his face you can tell he’s embarrassed and would rather be somewhere else.
